Composite Bonding
Composite bonding or Tooth Bonding as its also referred to, is a popular cosmetic dentistry procedure often used to correct minor defects to the teeth in order to improve their appearance and look. The procedure involves the application of a tooth coloured composite resin material to the visible surfaces of the patient’s tooth; the composite resin is then sculpted into the desired shape by the cosmetic dentist and hardened using a special light to produce beautifully results. The composite resin material is available in a wide range of shades, thus allowing the cosmetic dentist to match the colour of the resin to your natural teeth exactly. Composite or Tooth bonding is pain free as the cosmetic dentist only changes and works on the outer surface or enamel of the teeth.
