Invisalign Clear Braces

Invisalign clear braces are very popular with adult and teen patients in London. Invisalign’s innovative technology helps straighten teeth discreetly and comfortably as compared to traditional fixed metal braces. Invisalign braces aren’t only for teenagers; they are equally popular with our adult patients as well in London. If you are looking to straighten your teeth and find traditional fixed braces off-putting due to their unsightly appearance, you will be happy to know that Invisalign clear braces can be a good alternative braces treatment, providing beautiful straight teeth without the need to wear cumbersome metal braces and wires. At Whites Dental, we have some of London’s leading dentists providing patients a range of discreet brace solutions including Invisalign braces, clear ceramic braces and lingual braces. If you want to have your teeth straightened, but don’t know what braces treatment is best suited for your needs, you can book a complementary Invisalign consultation with our Invisalign dentists. They will be able to discuss the various treatment options that are suited to address your needs and will be able to answer any questions you might have as well. Call our friendly reception team on 0208 616 0590 to book a free consultation. Alternatively, you can email us at [email protected] as well.

Composite Bonding

Composite bonding is a quick, convenient and cost effective way to make changes to the shape, size and colour of your teeth. If you have gaps between your front teeth or have a broken, chipped or cracked tooth, composite bonding could be the right treatment for you. It provides beautiful, natural results all in one appointment (mostly). Composite bonding is also known as dental bonding or just Bonding and is a simple and convenient way to improve your smile without having to use any drills or needles. The cosmetic dentist applies a tooth colored composite resin material to the surface of the tooth and then sculpts it into the desired shape. The resin is then hardened and polished to provide excellent, natural looking results.

We find bonding treatment has become very popular lately with our patients in London. A significant proportion of our cosmetic patients take up composite bonding in some way as part of their smile makeover. If you are looking to improve your smile, we will be happy to offer you a complementary cosmetic consultation with one of our cosmetic dentists to explain how composite bonding can help to improve your smile.

Veneers

Veneers are the next step when it comes to reshaping the size and shape of your teeth. If you are looking to make larger changes to the appearance of your teeth, you should consider veneers as a cosmetic dentistry option. Composite bonding is helpful to make relatively minor change to the size and shape of the teeth. For more significant chances, veneers are more effective. Veneers come in two forms – composite and porcelain veneers. They both deliver the same end result, however, they use different materials; composite veneers use composite resin material whereas porcelain veneers use porcelain as the name suggests. Regardless of the material used, each type of veneer is crafted to cover the tooth surface in order to mask the appearance of the underlying teeth. Veneers are well suited to correct uneven, gapped, broken and discoloured teeth or teeth that are flawed in some way or the other. Each type of veneers, regardless of whether it’s a composite veneer or a porcelain veneer, is specifically crafted or made to exactly fit the shape of the patients tooth and is then custom-fitted to transform the appearance of the patient’s teeth and smile. Veneers and composite bonding often go very well together – veneers to mask teeth that are significantly mis-shaped and composite bonding to touch up any surrounding teeth to provide the patient a beautiful end to end smile.

Teeth Whitening

Professional teeth whitening is one of the most common procedures when it comes to cosmetic dentistry. It is safe, effective and not very expensive. It can transform a person’s smile from being stained and dull to sparkling white. It is often used in combination with other cosmetic treatments such as composite bonding and wider smile makeovers. Teeth whitening treatments can be had in two forms mostly – home teeth whitening and in-surgery teeth whitening. Home teeth whitening involves the patient coming in to the cosmetic dentist to take impression of their teeth in order to manufacture custom made whitening trays. The patient is then provided with whitening gels to use at home, usually at night. The treatment typically takes 2-3 weeks and provides the patient with a whiter brighter smile. Insurgery Philips Zoom whitening is performed by the cosmetic dentist within the surgery itself, where the dentist applies a whitening gel of higher concentration to the patients teeth in order to whiten the teeth. A white laser (LED) light is sometimes used to activate the whitening agents and speed up the whitening process. Instant in-surgery whitening also produces brilliant whitening results. At Whites Dental, our cosmetic dentists use the two most popular whitening systems – Philips Zoom and Enlighten. They both come in home whitening and in-surgery whitening versions.
