Lip Fillers Cost

Lip fillers are a popular cosmetic treatment used to boost the volume and shape of the lips. It is a non-surgical procedure wherein lip filler gel is injected into the patient’s lips to provide natural looking results. Lip fillers are a great way to add extra plumpness and volume to lips that may be lacking in elasticity or shape. As we age, the effects of ageing become more pronounced – lip volume usually reduces, leaving the lips with a thinner and flatter look. Fine lines and wrinkles also often appear on the face, leading to less defined lip borders, skin that doesn’t look smooth, thereby creating an overall appearance that looks aged. Lip fillers treatments can provide an effective non-surgical solution to help reverse these signs associated with ageing. In addition, lip fillers can also be used to cosmetically enhance the fullness and shape of younger patients to provide a more aesthetically pleasing look.

At Whites Dental, we use a selection of lip fillers such as Juvéderm® at costs that are very competitive. Our medical practitioners will ensure we deliver the best possible results for you. Our lip filler costs are provided in the cost table below.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the advantages and benefits of lip fillers?

Our appearance is very important to us, especially our facial appearance. Lips define our facial appearance and are one of the first few things people notice about our appearance. Lips can thin over time, or some of us may have lips that are naturally thin. Lip enhancement and lip fillers augmentation treatments will make your lips bigger and fuller, adding plumpness and volume to the lips. This can help to provide more aesthetically pleasing well-defined lips and also reverse a downward turned lip expression often related to ageing.

Lip fillers can also help to fill out ‘smokers’ lines’; smokers lines are lines that appear around the mouth due to smoking and also as a result of ageing. Lip fillers treatments can improve the appearance of your lips and mouth by adding more shape, structure and volume to the lips. Results of lip filler treatments usually last 6 to 8 months, enabling patients to adjust the shape and size of their lips over time through follow on lip treatments.

Will my lips look natural post lip filler treatment?

At Whites, we only use reputable tried and tested lip filler treatments from well-known brands such as Juvéderm®. These lip enhancement products are designed to be used specifically to add volume and plumpness to the lips, and providing better defined borders to the lips. The dermal fillers we often use alongside lip fillers to smoothen fine lines and wrinkle on the patients face enable us to provide our patients with a natural looking, more youthful and pleasing facial appearance. All our lip filler treatments are undertaken by experienced dentists, with years of experience in facial aesthetics; they will make your lips appear fuller, but also natural looking.

Do I need downtime after lip filler treatment?

We do not expect our patients to need any downtime following lip enhancement treatment. Some patients may sometimes experience mild swelling, redness, itching or tenderness after treatment; these effects are considered normal and clear up usually in less than a fortnight. Keeping this in mind, we typically advise our patients to please be mindful before undertaking lip filler treatment prior to big events.

What are the risks associated with lip filler treatment?

Lip filler treatments at Whites are very safe; our dentists are very experienced at facial aesthetic treatments and only use reputed, regulator approved lip filler gel systems. It is worth noting however that lip filler treatments can sometimes include minor side effects. These side effects can include redness to the lips, itching, minor swelling and bruising at the site of the injection. Side effects usually last between 2 to 10 days. If you suffer from cold sores to the lips, lip filler treatment may not be an appropriate treatment for you. Allergic reactions to the lip filler products used are also unlikely.

Lip filler treatments can provide varying results to different people based on the composition of their skin and lip tissue. If you find that results of lip filler treatment are uneven after a couple of weeks, we will usually see you for a review appointment where our dentist will assess the results and provide a touch-up to make the results appear even and natural.

How do I find a good lip filler practitioner?

Lip filler treatment involves injecting filler material into a patient’s lips and skin. Any procedure that requires injectables needs to be undertaken by an experienced and qualified medical practitioner. We advise everyone to thoroughly research the market in order to find a facial aesthetics practitioner who has appropriate medical qualifications and has enough experience to undertake the procedure successfully and safely. You should always first check that the practitioner is medically registered with the appropriate medical authority. We strongly recommend undertaking treatments from facial aesthetic practitioners who are medically qualified – a dentist or a medical doctor for example. A practitioners experience is also something that is of significant importance – you should assess criteria such as how long they have been practicing facial aesthetics and lip fillers in particular and whether they have adequate insurance cover.

At Whites, our lip filler and facial aesthetic treatments are only provided by qualified dentists. All our facial aesthetic practitioners have considerable experience providing facial aesthetic treatments and have the most gentle touch.
