If you find that results are uneven, we will see you for a review where the results can be rectified. If you suffer from cold sores, lip fillers may not be a good treatment in your case. Allergic reactions to the products used are unlikely.
Do I need downtime after treatment?
No downtime is required following lip plumping injections. However, as you may potentially experience mild redness, swelling, tenderness or itching after treatment, you may be advised to keep this is mind before big events. These effects are normal and will clear up in less than a fortnight.
How do I find a good and safe practitioner?
Any procedure that involves injectables needs to be performed by a qualified and experienced practitioner. You must research the market to find someone who’s appropriately medically qualified. You should always check if the practitioner is medically registered – we recommend treatments from practitioners who have a medical qualification – a doctor or a dentist.
